is what you will find when you come to Whispering Pines. Our
goal is to offer you a quality hunt with a memorable outdoor
experience. We offer guided elk hunts, deer hunts and antelope
hunts under the Colorado ranching for wildlife program on 5000
acres of deeded ground.
This program stresses the importance
of good habitat and game management. The benefits include flexible
seasons for your elk, deer and antelope hunting along with choice
of weapon during the elk rut hunt. You will also be guaranteed
to get a license/landowner tags for elk, deer, and antelope.
Elk and deer hunts are scheduled for five days. Elk hunts begin
the first part of September into the first part of October with
the rifle rut hunts. The remaining elk hunts carry through into
the migration of November and the first part of December. Mule
deer rut hunts will begin in the middle part of October following
their migration into November. Antelope hunts are scheduled for
three days, beginning in mid august all the way through the first
part of October.
You can expect to
hunt antelope on the plains and prairies amongst the sagebrush
and grassy slopes and hillsides stalking that one special buck.
Fully guided elk, deer, and antelope combo hunts are set up with
a guide for every two hunters. Your guide will take care of all
your hunting needs to make sure it is a lasting memory. A one
on one elk, deer, or antelope hunt is also available for an additional
fee. Semi guided elk hunts include one guide for every four hunters
giving you the opportunity to hunt private property on your own
